🧾 How Passport Shipping Works
Passport shipping through Swift involves two separate shipments:

Outbound shipment (you → Swift)

Return shipment (Swift → you)
Each shipment has different responsibilities and timing.
📤 Shipping Your Passport to Swift
When you are instructed to send your passport:

You are responsible for shipping your passport to Swift
-
Only ship your passport after completing required steps

Use a secure, trackable shipping method
Swift cannot submit your application until your passport is physically received.
📥 Return Shipping from Swift
Once processing is complete:

Swift picks up passports on the consulate’s completion date

Pickups occur in the afternoon
-
Passports are shipped back to you via FedEx
Swift ships passports immediately after pickup.
🔎 Tracking Numbers & Notifications
Tracking numbers are issued based on the type of service:

Visa services:
Tracking is posted by the end of the business day on the visa completion date -
Passport services:
Tracking is posted by the end of the business day on the day Swift receives your new passport

🚚 FedEx Shipping Options
Swift uses FedEx only for return shipping.
Available options may include:

Two-day delivery

Standard overnight

Priority overnight

First overnight

Saturday delivery (where available)
Delivery times are estimates and depend on your location.
