Inbound Shipping: Getting Your Documents to Swift

Learn how to send your passport and required documents to Swift, including shipping responsibilities and delivery details.

You are responsible for getting your passport and required documents to Swift.

You may:

  • Ship your documents to Swift, or

  • Drop them off in person at the Chicago office

Swift does not arrange inbound shipping for customers.


🧾 Important Shipping Clarification

The shipping option selected during checkout is for:

  • Return shipping only (to return your passport back to you upon completion of the service)

It is not used for sending your documents to Swift.


✍️ Signature Requirements

A signature is not required for deliveries to Swift.

Carriers may deliver packages without obtaining a signature.


🕒 Weekend & After-Hours Deliveries

Swift business hours:

  • Monday–Friday

  • 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM CST

Swift is not open on weekends. However:

  • Packages can still be delivered

  • Deliveries are safely received after business hours

  • Weekend deliveries are secure

  • Use a trackable shipping method

  • We do NOT recommend shipping with USPS. We recommend using FedEx or UPS.
  • Retain your tracking number until delivery is confirmed

  • Processing does not begin until documents are received and reviewed
