What Documents Are Required for a China Business (M) and Non-Business (F) Visa?

Learn the standard document requirements for a China business (M) visa and when additional documents may be requested.

📍 Standard Required Documents

To apply for a China Business (M) Visa, or Non-Business (F) Visa, you must upload the following into the questionnaire:

  • Passport

  • Two blank visa pages inside your passport

  • Headshot photo (passport-style)

  • Proof of residency (one of the following)

    • Valid driver’s license

    • State ID card

    • Recent utility bill

    • Recent bank statement

  • Invitation letter from a Chinese company (M visa) or Chinese organization (F visa)

  • Visa Application Statement (provided in your instruction email)


📄 Additional Documents (If Applicable)

You must also provide the following if they apply to your situation:

  • Copy of your most recent Chinese visa

  • Bio page of the passport that contained your most recent China visa (if it is in a different passport)

  • Copy of U.S. visa or front and back of U.S. green card (for non-U.S. passport holders)

  • Passport of second nationality (for dual citizens)
