🧭 Checking the Status of Your Application (Traveler View)

📋 Steps

1. Open your traveler dashboard
   After logging into SwiftPass, your active applications appear in a list view on the dashboard. Each application includes a progress bar showing where it currently stands.
2. Locate your current application
   Find the row showing your order or destination. The status field will display one of several stages, such as New, Documents Received by Swift, Application Processing, Documents Shipped Back to Traveler, or Order Complete.
3. View your progress bar
   The progress bar gives a quick visual indicator of your application’s current stage. As Swift reviews and processes your materials, this bar updates automatically.
4. Click the application to view details
   Selecting the application opens a detailed timeline. You can view milestones such as when documents were received, reviewed, or shipped.
5. Understand each status stage
   1. New: Your application has been created and is awaiting initial review.
   2. Documents Received by Swift: Your materials have arrived at Swift and are being reviewed.
   3. Application Processing: Your application is under review by Swift and the relevant consulate or embassy.
   4. Documents Shipped Back to Traveler: Your completed documents are on their way back to you.
   5. Order Complete: Your application process has been successfully finalized.
      
   
   
6. Check for special requests or resubmissions
   Occasionally, Swift or the consulate may need an updated or additional document.
   1. You’ll receive an email notification.
   2. Inside your application, affected items will display a red Resubmit label.
   3. Upload new documents directly in that section to continue processing.

✅ Expected Result

• You can clearly view your current application stage in SwiftPass.
• The progress bar and detailed timeline help you see what’s complete and what’s still pending.
• If any additional action is required, Swift will notify you both by email and within your dashboard.

💡 Notes and Tips

• Status updates appear as Swift processes each step — refresh your dashboard for the most current view.
• “Order Complete” means your passport or visa has been finalized and returned.
• If your application shows a Resubmit label, follow the instructions in the checklist or refer to the “What to Do with a Resubmission Required Item” article.
